Well we attempted our first camping/fishing trip from August 16th to the 20th in Bridgeport,CA with the Luckey family and successfully made it to and from with everyone in one piece. I must say that it definitely was a lot more work this year with a baby than in years past, but well worth it. It's amazing how much "stuff" you need for such a little person. I have to pat myself on the back for packing just right. We needed and used everything that I packed. All in all it was a great trip. Of course we didn't get in as much fishing as we'd like to have (in fact I didn't get to do any), but that's okay. Next year's just around the corner.

They do require so much stuff I'm noticing, even for a simple walk to the park it's like an adventure in cramming stuff into a bag!
I can't wait to take our little guy on his first mini-vacation.
